A graduate of the class of 1998, Jamie Long completed his undergraduate studies at La Salle University in Philadelphia, PA. While at La Salle, Jamie became a member of Theta Alpha Kappa, the Religious Studies Honor Society. After receiving his Bachelor of Arts in Religious Studies from LaSalle, Jamie’s first job was Director of Youth Ministry at St. Monica’s Parish in Berwyn, PA from 2002 - 2003.
Jamie returned to Baltimore in 2003 and was hired by Archbishop Curley High School to teach in the Religion Department in the summer of 2005. In 2008, Jamie was awarded his Advanced Certification in Youth Ministry from the Archdiocese of Baltimore. Jamie finished a Master’s Degree in Humanities from Loyola University of Maryland in May 2010. Currently, he is pursuing a Master of Theological Studies from Loyola University of Maryland, with an expected completion date of 2016.
Since returning to Curley, Jamie stepped into an advisory role with the campus ministry program and served as interim Director of Campus Ministry during the 2007 - 2008 academic year.
Jamie lives in Rosedale, MD with his wife Amanda, who teaches Elementary Art in the Anne Arundel Public School System.
