Mr. John Badley, born in Kansas and raised in Oklahoma, received his B.A. with double major in English and Philosophy & Religious Studies from Southwestern College, Winfield, KS in 2011. He went on to earn a M.Div. from Duke University Divinity School (Durham, North Carolina), with a particular emphasis in Scripture and Catholic theology. Finally, while teaching at Curley, he earned a Masters of Arts in Teaching at Loyola University Maryland with an emphasis in High School English education.
At Curley, Mr. Badley works on the Student Life Committee as the Co-Moderator of the Class of 2020 with Ms. Kangas. He is known as Coach Badley (a.k.a. Spin Doctor) out on the tennis courts as the Head of the Tennis Program.
Mr. Badley loves teaching at Curley because it is a diverse community in so many ways. At Curley we have students of from all over the Baltimore area, of all sorts and levels of ability, bringing with them many different experiences of life. Curley’s amazing student body, faculty, staff, and administration have taught him how to teach and are always helping him to sharpen his knowledge and skills.
