Message from the Alumni Director

Dear Fellow Alumni of Curley:

I am pleased to report that this year’s Homecoming celebration was a very successful weekend once again. On a beautiful, sunny, and 75-degree Saturday, our Alumni Tent had over 300 graduates sharing food, drink, fond memories, and an excellent view of the victories by both our soccer and football teams. I’d like to offer my sincerest thanks to all of our sponsors, and volunteers who dedicated their time and resources to the event. A very special thanks to Eric Oppel ’02 and his staff at Deli-ish for their catering services on Saturday, as well as Joe Della Rose ’73 and Della Rose’s Avenue Tavern for hosting our Pre-Homecoming Night on Friday.

I would also like to thank the 15 Alumni who were able to join us with their sons for our Alumni Son’s Reception & VIP Tour this past weekend at Open House. I am hopeful that your sons will be walking the halls together as Curley brothers in the near future!

Looking forward, the Alumni Association will be holding an Alumni Community Service Day at St. Stephen, Bradshaw, on November 18th from 8 A.M. to 12 P.M. If you are interested in taking part in this special project, please reach out to me through the Alumni Office number, or my email address below.

The Alumni Association is very excited to be hosting our annual Reunion Night on November 24th for the Classes of '72, '77, '82, '87, '92, '97, '02, '07, and '12. The celebration begins at 7 P.M. and will take place on campus in the SDR. If you are interested in attending, please register through the school website at:

Since beginning my role as Alumni Director in August, one of my projects has been updating our alumni database, which I am very happy to report now includes over 8,300 graduates! In an effort to update our records with the most accurate information, the Advancement Office has developed a “Missing Alumni” page on the school website. We are using this page to identify graduates for whom we have inaccurate, or missing information. It is my hope that our missing graduates will contact me to update their information, or that a classmate may contact the alum, and provide us with correct information. I ask that you please take a moment to review our list of missing alumni, and offer any help that you can to assist our school in this process:

The Alumni Association has had great success recently in further developing our Class Contact program. Serving as a Class Contact involves reaching out to your “missing” classmates in order to obtain updated contact information, as well as reporting on major life events (marriages, births, deaths, career advancement, etc.) Please reach out to me if you are interested in serving as a Contact for your class.

I’d like to take a moment to thank you all for your continued support of our Curley community, and I invite you to contact me with any questions that you may have.

Thank you again and best regards,

Craig Baldwin ’11
