Thanks to 40 Curley alumni and 2 non-alumni who volunteered their time to participate in Career Day at Curley. Sponsored by the Alumni Association and the Guidance Office, Career Day enables the students to interact with Curley men who are successful in their careers.
The alumni gathered in the conference center for lunch and seemed glad to see each other. Some grads, like Jon Long '96, an IT professional, were experiencing Career Day for the first time. Other grads, like Matt Jackson '87, Secret Service agent, are perennial favorites.
A keynote address was delivered by Rob Commodari '85, realtor, who challenged the students to start thinking about their future careers and to take advantage of what Curley has to offer to prepare themselves.
The alumni then reported to their assigned space where they delivered two 30 minute presentations.
