The Archbishop Curley community has been established as a community where high values are expected from each member. Honesty and integrity are essential for the moral development of our youth. Therefore, academic integrity is expected from all students. Since the grades issued to a student are reflective of his personal academic progress, any student found cheating, plagiarizing or using unauthorized electronic devices on an assignment will be given a zero for the assignment, test, quiz or assignment in question.
The following is considered Academic Dishonesty:
- Giving or receiving any unauthorized aid during a test, quiz, homework or classroom assignment
- Use of unauthorized sources to aid in a test, quiz, homework or classroom assignment
- Finding information about a test or quiz before it has been taken.
- Copying items from a source without proper documentation
Taking another’s idea and using it as your own.
