HERRING RUN WATERSHED
SERVICE DAY

In its 50th year of existence, Curley looks to exemplify what it teaches its students—life is about giving back.   The 50th Anniversary Committee planned a Day of Service to the local community and on October 30, alumni, parents, students and friends of Curley planted 50 trees in Herring Run Park in conjunction with the Herring Run Watershed Association.   The association supplied the tools and the trees;  Curley supplied the mulch and the man and woman power.
Archbishop Curley has been part of this northeast Baltimore community for 50 years.   In the past, many students from Little Flower, Most Precious Blood and other parishes walked to school.   The Curley Cross Country Team has always used Herring Run Park as its home course.  So, on October 30, members of the Curley Family gave back a little to the neighborhood.
