John M. Targarona 1928 - 1988
Mr. John M. Targarona served as a dedicated member of the Curley faculty and coaching staff for twenty-five years intil his untimely death in 1988. A member of the Physical Education Department, "Coach Tag," as he was known to the Curley Family, coached football, track and served as Curley's Athletic Director and Athletic Trainer. Tag was dedicated to his family and to Curley High School. He was the epitome of a Christian gentleman. The Alumni Association is honored to name its tournament in his memory.
All proceeds from this tournament go to support the Alumni Memorial Scholarship Fund.
