ALUMNI LACROSSE GAME
May 23, 2010
On Sunday, May 23, 2010, the Curley alumni lacrosse game returned after an absence of eight years. Thanks to the efforts of Jim Kielek '05, thirty-four lacrosse alumni, spanning thirty years of graduation, assembled to play, or at to least watch.
Splitting up even graduating years vsersus odd years, a spirited game was played, loosely officiated by Varsity coach Joe Latona. There were flashes of old brilliance, but also a lot of bodies that failed to answer the demands of hitting the field again.
A great time was had by all, especially when the game ended and it was time for burgers, dogs and cold drinks, as well as telling old stories and stretching the facts about playing careers.
Everyone hopes that this game will continue and that more Lax alumni will come next year.
