Curley Gala Postponed

March 13th, 2020 | Posted By: Greg Malanowski | Posted in Alumni, Giving, Parents

For the safeguarding of the health of our Curley Family and friends, due to concerns about COVID-19 caused by the coronavirus, and because of the current state limits on the size of gatherings, Archbishop Curley High School has made the decision to postpone the Curley Gala from April 4 to June 6, 2020.

With some cancellations across the state running into early April, and with the many questions that are being asked, this is the only viable option.  It is our hope and prayer that the crisis will pass well before June.  We now have air conditioning in the gym and other rooms used for the Gala.  We are grateful to Atlantic Caterers and auctioneer Jonathan Melnick for accommodating this change.

We surely hope you can attend on June 6. If you cannot, please let Kathy Wandishin know (410-485-5000 ext 280)  and a refund for your tickets will be processed. If you cannot attend and decide to donate the value of the tickets you purchased, a donation letter will be sent to you. Tickets for Gala XXV on June 6 remain on sale. The car raffle will also be delayed until the evening of the Gala. Certain auction items with an event date before June 6 may go to an on-line auction; if so, details will be sent.

Please be assured that we will continue to evaluate this unfolding situation. Any additional postponements or cancellations of this or future events will be communicated as soon as possible.

Thank you for your understanding, and for your continued support of Archbishop Curley High School.  Any questions can be answered through the Advancement Office (410-485-5000, x208).
