An enthusiastic group enjoyed the concert of the Curley Choirs on April 30th.  The full 106-voice Curley Choir presented two sets totaling 13 songs ranging from the spiritual “This Train” to the Irish favorite “Danny Boy” and the 50’s classic “Da Doo Ron Ron.”  The Schola sang three pieces including “Tom, Dick and Harry” by a friend of the choir, the late Sir Philip Ledger.  The Handbell Choir performed two pieces, both directed by senior student conductors, Aiden Brown and Hans Vanderhorst.  A combined choir of students and alumni, the Luminare Choir presented pieces from Monteverdi, Locke and Handel, with exquisite precision and beauty.  The Curley Choirs are directed by Mr. Michael Gaffney and accompanied by Mr. Michael Britt.
