Archbishop Curley High School is pleased to announce the appointment of Greg Loftus ’95 as the school’s new Director of Athletics.
A proud Curley alumnus, Mr. Loftus has served the Curley community with dedication and versatility—as a teacher, coach, and most recently as Director of Alumni. His deep roots in the Curley tradition and his passion for both athletics and student development make him a natural fit for this leadership role.
After graduating from Curley in 1995, Greg attended Mount St. Mary’s University, where he played soccer and earned his degree in business. He returned to his alma mater with a heart for service and a commitment to shaping young men through academics, faith, and sport.
In addition to his administrative roles, Greg has served as Head JV Soccer Coach for the past eight years, where he helped develop not just skilled athletes, but leaders on and off the field. His leadership, vision, and understanding of Curley’s mission will guide the school’s athletic program into its next chapter.
“I look forward to working with Greg in his new role. He is committed to the school’s mission and has served the school in a variety of capacities. He represented the school well as a student-athlete and later as a coach. He will bring that same approach to his duties as Athletic Director.” Principal Jeremy Joseph ’96
My eight years back at Sinclair and Erdman have been both meaningful and rewarding,” Loftus shared. “While I will miss my daily interactions with the advancement staff and the relationships I have built with our alumni, I’m excited about the opportunity to support them in a new capacity and to continue building strong relationships within our athletic community. GO FRIARS!”
