The Varsity Football team partnered with Belair Edison Elementary and ForeverAthleticsUSA to host a football skills clinic that combined Social Emotional Learning (SEL) with football instruction and gameplay. The team designed and led a series of drills emphasizing fundamentals, sportsmanship, teamwork, and community-building for students in grades 2–5.
Throughout the clinic, Curley student-athletes provided one-on-one mentorship and coaching to more than 40 elementary students. The day concluded with small flag football games, where the players served as both referees and coaches. To celebrate the experience, each Curley player presented their mentee with a Curley sticker and a Brotherhood wristband.
This clinic was a valuable learning opportunity for our student-athletes and a meaningful, memorable experience for every participant This was a true reflection of Curley’s mission to form young men of faith, character, leadership, and service.
