Archbishop Curley High School proudly hosted the Malcolm Bernard HBCU College Fair on Tuesday, February 24, welcoming 17 Historically Black Colleges and Universities to campus for an evening of opportunity and inspiration.
Representatives from institutions including Howard University, Hampton University, Morgan State University, Tuskegee University, Bowie State University, and many others met with Curley students and families to share information about academic programs, campus life, and scholarship opportunities. Several colleges offered on-site admissions decisions and application fee waivers, giving students immediate access to next steps in their college journey.
The evening also featured a valuable workshop on Financial Aid and Scholarships, providing families with practical guidance on navigating the financial aid process. Adding to the impact of the event, three Archbishop Curley alumni who are currently attending HBCUs returned to campus to speak with attendees about their college experiences and the lifelong benefits of an HBCU education.
The Malcolm Bernard HBCU College Fair was a powerful reminder of Curley’s commitment to expanding college access and connecting our students with meaningful pathways for their future.
