Curley Jazz participated in the Naptown Jazz Kids Big Band Invitational. Archbishop Curley and 12 other schools from Montgomery County to New Jersey performed for a panel of adjudicators, participated in masterclasses with UMBC faculty, and attended workshops and a concert with members of The U.S. Army Blues, the Army’s premiere jazz ensemble. Four Curley Men were the recipients of the Outstanding Soloist Award; Jake Ruth ’26, Evan Hertzfelt ’26, Grant Huskey ’27, and Ian Jackson ’29.
