Congratulations to Archbishop Curley junior Alexander Plumey on being awarded an all expense paid summer study trip to Germany through the American Association of Teachers of German (AATG)!

Alexander earned this prestigious honor after scoring in the 99th percentile on the 2026 National German Exam, competing against more than 12,000 students nationwide. He is one of only 36 students in the United States selected for this incredible opportunity.

A self taught German student, Alexander has pursued his passion for language learning under the guidance of his mentor, Mr. Steven Harper. This summer, he will travel to Germany for a cultural and educational experience that includes living with a host family and exploring historic sites throughout the country.

We are incredibly proud of Alexander for this outstanding achievement and for representing Curley with excellence on a national level!
