Mr. McGinty earned his undergraduate degree from Salisbury University and a Masters in Education from Loyola College with a secondary education certification in Guidance and Counseling. He spent numerous years with The Union Memorial Hospital Sports Medicine Department and was the Head Athletic Trainer for The Baltimore Blast and Baltimore Spirit soccer clubs for over 10 years.
Mr. McGinty provided sports medicine coverage for many of the local private schools in the early 90’s. Curley was always his favorite school to cover. “When Fr. Michael called and made the offer….I never looked back and feel as though I made a great transition in life. I am fortunate to be at Curley. It is a wonderful enviroment.” Mr. McGinty can always be seen on the sideline at athletic events, with his trainer’s box at the ready.
He is married to Anne McGinty and has 2 children, Neely and Finley.
