Mr. Forte attended Cardinal Gibbons High School from 1969 to 1973. Those were extremely happy years for him. During this time, he met a number of teachers who influenced him to follow his interests and pursue teaching as a career. He majored in Mathematics at Loyola College in Maryland and graduated with honors in 1977. He attended U.M.B.C. for a graduate program in Applied Mathematics while teaching some undergraduate courses both at Loyola College and U.M.B.C. He had the good fortune to apply for a Math opening at Cardinal Gibbons for the fall of 1978 and spent 32 amazing years at his alma mater. Over the years, he has been called to serve in several administrative capacities (Math Department Chair, Academic Dean, Vice-Principal, Principal and most recently Director of Lasallian Mission) in addition to teaching, but the classroom has always been his first love.
