Mrs. Kunkoski comes to Maryland by way of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She attended St. Cecilia’s elementary school and St. Basil Academy High School for Girls. Mrs. Kunkoski graduated from University of Maryland Baltimore County with a Bachelor of Arts in Information Systems Management and a minor in Sociology. While at UMBC she was a member of the Women’s Soccer Team from 1998-2002. She served as a Graduate Assistant Coach for the 2003 season.
After leaving UMBC Mrs. Kunkoski taught in the Anne Arundel County Public School system for over ten years. While at Chesapeake High School she was the Head Varsity Women’s Soccer Coach, Assistant Varsity Lacrosse Coach, and National Honor Society Advisor. After staying home to raise her three sons Mrs. Kunkoski returned to education two years ago and most recently served as an Academic Advisor at the Community College of Baltimore County. When Mrs. Kunkoski is not running from ball field to ball field with her sons; she enjoys reading and hiking. She loves to workout and has taken up Personal Training, and teaching group fitness classes. Her favorite thing to do is watch her boys play baseball. Her three sons are in 1st, 4th, and 7th grade within the Archdiocese of Baltimore.
