The Ulman Foundation Visit

The SGA was fortunate to host the Ulman Foundation, a cancer support non-profit organization located in Baltimore, on campus. Their visit was part of Curley’s No Shave November initiative, and focused on the importance of men’s health and cancer awareness in young males. CEO Brock Yetso was joined by Dr. Jason Goldstein, a Ulman Foundation Board Member and pediatrician. They shared with our students who the Ulman Foundation is, how they support patients and their families who have been affected by cancer, especially through the Ulman House, and how young men can care for themselves to maintain healthy lifestyles.

Principal, Jeremy Joseph was able to present the Ulman Foundation with a donation on behalf of fundraising done by our Curley students through No Shave November and the Volleyball program’s DigPink event. We thank CEO Brock Yetso, and Dr. Jason Goldstein and the Ulman Foundation for the inspiring words and for all they do in bringing awareness and support to the Baltimore community. We also thank members of the Ulman Foundation including Jessie Hayes, Chief Development Officer; Boo Entwistle Weker, Director of Marketing & Communications, and volunteer, Susan Mihok for joining in today’s visit and presentation.
