Congratulations to Kim Burton who has been named the 2025 Outstanding Biology Teacher Awardee (OBTA) for the state of Maryland. The public announcement notes, “The OBTA was created by the National Association of Biology Teachers in 1962 and is one of the association’s most prestigious awards. Each year, the NABT attempts to identify the best biology and life science teacher in each of the 50 states, Washington, DC, the Canadian provinces, Puerto Rico, and overseas territories.”
