Almighty ever-living God, who, by a singular grace, gave the Priest Saint Pius a share in the
Cross of your Son and, by means of his ministry, renewed the wonders of your mercy, grant
that through his intercession we may be united constantly to the sufferings of Christ, and so
brought happily to the glory of the resurrection. Amen.

There will be a general meeting for anyone interested in playing lacrosse in the spring,
on Tuesday September 27 @2:45pm in the auditorium.  The meeting will only last 15 minutes.
Please be on time. If you can not make it, see Mr. Ogle in room 216.
The Ethics Bowl club will meet in room 213 on Monday the 26th and Wednesday the 28 th
Blackfriars' Theatre will hold auditions for their Fall production on Tuesday, September 27th
immediately after school.  Sign-up will take place in the hallway behind the stage in the Fine
Arts Building and readings will be done on stage in the auditorium. Once you complete your
audition you are free to leave. Casting will be announced later in the week and rehearsals will
begin on Monday, October 3rd.  The Fall production is Joseph Kesselring's classic play, "Arsenic
and Old Lace". The production will be presented the weekend of November 18th – 20th.

Juniors and Seniors, St. Bonaventure University will be coming to Curley on Monday at 8:30
AM.  Seton Hall University will be here at 11:30 am and Canisius College at 1:45! This week we
have a lot of college visits, so look at SCOIR and see if any are of interest to you!
Come out to Calvert Hall tonight to support the varsity soccer team as they take on the
Cardinals for the Bernie Reif Alumni Cup.  The winning team gets to keep the Cup at their school
for the year.  Kick-off is at 7:15 pm.
Want to show some Curley Spirit? The Class of 2025 will be selling Curley flags (3’ x 5’) and
garden flags (12” x 18”) to help raise funds for their Junior and Senior Proms. The small flags are
$15 and the larger flags are $30. A link to order will be available in the weekly newsletter
published on Thursday. Additionally, students can see Mr. Streckfus and/or Mrs. Burton to
purchase. Please support the Sophomore Class and show off your Curley pride at the same
