Because of the extraordinary circumstances of this spring, and after postponing the Curley Gala once, we decided to embark down the path of a VIRTUAL GALA. Bidding will start on June 3rd and end on June 6th using the following website:
In the two weeks prior to the auction we invite you to check out the auction website, browse the gifts and register to be a bidder. There is no cost to register. The website is mobile-friendly and works on a laptop, phone or desktop. The Chrome browser on Windows machines works well, if you have difficulties seeing the website. This year’s version of the annual Curley Gala is truly the Home Edition. You will be able to bid from home using your computer or handheld device. Bidding will open at 12:01 AM on June 3. A series of Early Bird gifts will close first – on Friday, June 5 at 9 p.m. This will let you get the feel for how the virtual auction works. A series of our traditional Verbal Auction items will be open for bid starting on June 3 as well.
We hope that you will then join us for a live-streamed Gala program on June 6 starting with Mass at 6 p.m. and the Gala program starting at 7 p.m. During this live-streamed event we will highlight our Verbal Auction items, which will close live during the broadcast and your bids will be captured electronically. Following the Gala program, our silent auction items will close starting at 9:00 p.m.
