Coach Richard Stichel brings over 20 years of coaching and teaching experience to
Archbishop Curley. A graduate of McDaniel College with both a B.S. and M.S. in
Physical Education and Exercise Science, he has led programs at New Town, John
Carroll, Loyola Blakefield, and Calvert Hall.

Coach Stichel’s career highlights include a 2012 MIAA B Conference Championship,
three Centennial Conference titles (1997–1999), and being named Baltimore
Ravens Coach of the Week twice. Known for developing strong student-athletes and
leading competitive programs, he continues to elevate Curley’s football tradition with
passion, discipline, and excellence.
